Ketter as pastor. 1951 brought them back to St. Joseph's and 1954 again to St. Francis de Sales. many priests came and went. A fire gutted the church on October 31, 1976. Following the fire parishioners met in the Sabin Community Hall for Mass. In 1991 to the present St. Cecilia's became a mission parish of Assumption, Barnesville, MN. Since the building of the present church in 1978, St. Cecilia's has had the kitchen remodeled in 2000; 7 new classrooms, enlargements of the gathering space and kitchen, a new furnace along with painting and new carpet throughout the church in 2003.
